This ingenious brooder is a high quality unit capable of providing the ideal conditions a young altricial bird needs. It provides comforting all round warmth from gently circulating air, with no high temperature radiant heat emitter or underfloor heating.
Lift-off construction allows very convenient access for hand feeding young birds and cleaning the equipment. If required, electronic temperature alarm module and electronic humidity control can be added. The smooth, detachable base is moulded from high insulating, structural polyurethane which is very easy to clean.
The centre section is constructed from a double skin of clear polymer, allowing unobstructed view of the birds, and allowing the growing parrot to become used to the people around it. The chick tray locates in the base to provide an easily gripped surface for the birds to stand on and is perforated to allow waste to fall through. Specifications: 385mm x 295mm x 345mm high.
