Vice-buster for livestock
Scarper! is a highly effective aerosol spray for use to combat cannibalism and feather-pecking in poultry, fighting and tail-biting in pigs and for protection of cattle and horses from fly attacks. Scarper! has a distinctive strong smell which the attacking animal finds repulsive. Also recommended for tail-biting in pigs.
Scarper! is very similar to the old PBH Spray or UKADEX Repulsif, which are now no longer available but which used to be recognised as the most effective products of their type on the market - and Scarper! is equally effective!
Don't under-estimate this product - the attackers will truly Scarper! The distinctive, repulsive, smell works wonders - but make sure you wear disposable gloves when applying it, otherwise you may find you are repelling more than the chickens!
Application: Poultry: Spray at a distance of 5cm from the pecked area. In severe cases or larger flocks, it may be beneficial to apply to vulnerable areas on a few extra birds in the flock as well, for maximum deterrent effect. Pigs: Spray once or twice a day on the tail area. Cattle and Horses: Spray the legs and throat.
